ALASKAN CRUISE PRICES DRASTICALLY REDUCED IN 2009

New segments of the International Appalachian Trail, which runs from Georgia to Maine and now into Canada, are scheduled to open summer 2009 (IAT sections already exist on Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island). The new segments should add over a thousand kilometers to the total trail distance and afford views of mountains, sea, and yes, waterfalls. Information should soon be available at iatnl.ca, though the website is currently under construction.

One of the cool things about the island is its organic farm. They even make their own delicious tea blend from herbs grown there!
