It was supposed to be a vacation – no writing, no photos. But by day three in Aguadilla, a city located on the northwest coast of Puerto Rico, I felt the urge to share. The reason? This city isn’t necessarily the Puerto Rico people may think of. Forget San Juan’s urban sprawl. Instead, think small surf town, empty beaches, lush rainforests, quaint beach bars and epic diving and snorkeling. That’s Aguadilla, which accommodates flights from most major hubs.
