Costa Almeria is one of the popular holiday destinations of Spain. Almeria gave the most hours of sunshine. There are large numbers of traditional and modern resorts with full range of facilities. Andalucia is a paradise of birds and it is the Afro-European migration root. The beaches are full of life with golden sand and water sports.

The best time to vista Costa Almeria is a summer time, with sunshine and warm seas. Most visitors come here in summer to enjoy the sunshine. Here you can find secluded coves sheltered by cliffs, beautiful harbors, and salt lagoons, fine grained sand and natural reserves.

There is a beautiful water park at Vera. Blue Flag Beach is covered with palm trees is very famous among the tourists. Although there are a wide variety of hotels, apartments and villas, there is a noticeable lack of high rise apartment blocks in Costa Almeria.

Certain beaches are popular with nudists such as Cerrillos beach at Roquetas de Mar which is a peaceful area not suited to young children because of the heavy seas. The salt lagoons at Las Marinas are good vantage points from which to watch the flamingos and other species of water birds.

Tabernas, sixteen miles from Almeria city is the village where many of the famous westerns were made because the landscape resembles the old Wild West. The film lots have been developed into small theme parks and a children's zoo.
